We Lived the Spreadsheet Nightmare
Compass wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from frustration. We were a team drowning in Excel files - a different spreadsheet for leads, another for projects, one more for contracts. Every week meant more "v2_FINAL_updated.xlsx" files flying around in email chains.
We tried Salesforce. It was powerful, but it felt like we needed a PhD to use it. We tried lightweight tools, but they couldn't handle real project complexity. So we built what we actually needed: something as flexible as a spreadsheet, but built for how teams actually work.
